‘A British Gardener Abroad’ talk with Chris Collins

Chris is an author, a tv broadcaster, lecturer, horticultural consultant, director at CM Collins Horticulture and head of horticulture at Garden Organic. Chris had a book ‘Grow Your Own For Kids’ published and was a graduate of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Previously he worked as Head Gardener at Westminster Abbey and has worked with BBC1, BBC2 and Channels 4 and 5. Other broadcasting credits include UK Style ITV’s This Morning and is a former Blue Peter gardener. Overseas work took him to Africa and Japan, and it is this that we will find all about when he visits the Urb Farm.

- Light refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.
- Please note, there is no parking at the farm but 4 spaces will be made available for disabled badge holders.
All proceeds go back into the charity to help more young adults fallen outside of regular education.
