Get involved

Whether you take part with your school, your family, your community, your place of worship or your business – there are so many ways to get involved in the Great Big Green Week.

Save the date

Once you’ve marked your calendar for Great Big Green Week 2025 why not let everyone know.

By telling friends and family, your local community, your workplace or other organisations you belong to, you can help them become part of 1 million people taking action for nature and climate from 7th to 15th June.

If you are using social media, tag us on Instagram or Facebook @theclimatecoalition and tag us using #GreatBigGreenWeek.

Organise an event

It’s never too early to start thinking about your plans for your Great Big Green Week event.

They are a brilliant way to bring your community group, school or workplace together. Or maybe you just want to get together with like minded people to swap together for good.

Could you organise an event in your local area? Something as simple as a litterpick or clothes swap. Perhaps a repair café or an inspiring talk about nature.  The opportunities are endless – check out our A-Z guide for inspiration.

You could also coordinate a local Green Week – a collection of events in one area.  We have all the resources you need for this right here:

Get your school involved

We know children and young people are often our best advocates when it comes to swapping together for good and love hearing stories from local schools about how they celebrate Great Big Green Week.

Could you offer a whole-school assembly or a lesson on climate change? We’re sure the eco committee will have brilliant ideas too.
