Get involved

Whether you take part with your school, your family, your community, your place of worship or your business – there are so many ways to get involved in the Great Big Green Week.

Organise an event

Anyone can organise an event for Great Big Green Week. A community group, a school, a workplace, a group of neighbours or you and your friends who want to do something good together.

Events can be as simple or as ambitious as you like. A litter pick, a clothes swap, a repair café, a nature walk, a talk on renewable energy, a film in the local cinema or a school activity. If it brings people together for good, it counts.

You could even coordinate a local Green Week, a collection of events across your area that creates even more momentum.

We are putting together all the resources and support you will need to make your event a success. sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear when everything is ready.

Get your school involved

We know children and young people are often our best advocates when it comes to swapping together for good and love hearing stories from local schools about how they celebrate Great Big Green Week.

Could you offer a whole-school assembly or a lesson on climate change? We’re sure the eco committee will have brilliant ideas too.
