Come along to the Environment Centre, Pier St Swansea SA1 1RY (behind Morgan's Hotel) to find out about low carbon transport issues, solutions and more. Starting with the policy perspective at both national (UK and Wales) and local (Swansea) level, we will then delve into practical actions and initiatives designed to help citizens reduce their travel carbon footprint. These include:
- Swansea's BRAND NEW electric car club
- £1 bus fares for under 21 year olds
- The financial and environmental benefits of Swansea Council's switch to electric vehicles
- The recently announced £6.7M investment in Swansea's walking and cycling routes, safe travel, electric car charging points and other transport improvements
