Try out a bat detector, learn how to identify plants and see what a beehive looks like from the inside. Get expert energy saving advice from the Centre for Sustainable Energy and check out some of the unique creations from local artist and maker stalls.

Learn ‘How to beat the heat’ in one of our free workshops with practical advice for staying cool in the heatwaves, craft some everlasting paper flowers or a build a bug house for your garden. Discover how to reduce waste in our series of talks, as well as how the planned Environment Agency works will impact our river, hear from a panel of local residents about their heat pump experiences and uncover the secrets of Chippenham’s wildlife. Photography displays of our local birds, mammals and more will showcase the range and beauty of our town’s biodiversity.

Listen to our live music performances on the Neeld stage and relax in our foyer with free hot and cold drinks, tasting samples of plant-based food and a range of tabletop eco games and family activities.
