Join us at WEN this Great Big Green Week to help with tasks including gardening, woodwork, general maintenance, and painting.

We're looking for volunteers to assist with jobs around our Environment Centre and in the garden outside. We'd really appreciate any help you can give, however much time you can spare and whatever your ability.

Come along between 10am and 3pm. Stay for the whole day or just part of it. We'll provide food for those with us over lunchtime.

Tasks will include gardening, woodwork, general maintenance, and painting. Choose from:

Pruning and weeding

Polytunnel door repair

Making beds for ‘square foot gardening’

Painting fencing, raised beds and display stands

Creative painting of display boards

Sign hanging

Internal painting

Possibly carpet tile fitting

Dress appropriately for the weather on the day and the tasks that need doing. If you have your own gardening gloves, please bring them.
