The first Great Big Green Week took place in September 2021, and was the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK, with over 5,000 events taking place up and down the country.
Since then, Great Big Green Week has continued to grow. In 2025, an amazing 1.2 million people took part! From Falmouth to Belfast, Jersey to Anglesey, Rugby to Thurso - we saw community action to tackle climate and nature in towns and cities up and down the country.
