University of Nottingham's Wilding Campuses End of Year Festival

As we approach the end of term, the Sustainability Team is excited to host the ‘Wilding Campuses End of Year Festival’ on the 10th of June (12-3pm) in the Millennium Gardens on University Park.
Everyone is welcome to come along to this event! It will be a chance to celebrate the fantastic volunteers who have helped shape the Wilding Campuses project, enjoy nature activities and look ahead to the University’s future in sustainability and biodiversity.
THE PROGRAMME:
12:00 - 1:00pm
Talks and free lunch in UP-LASS-B62
- Intro by Katherine Linehan: Pro-Vice Chancellor: Education & Student Experience
- Short nature talks by the Wilding Campuses Team and Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust on what we’ve achieved and have your say on what comes next!
1:00 - 3:00pm
Nature stalls in Millennium Gardens
- Nature workshops including: foraging to make herbal tea and elderflower cordial, pond dipping, bug house building.
- Stalls including: Notts Wildlife Trust, SOS-UK, UoN Wellbeing
- Photo competition winners and exhibition.
- Look to the future of wilding at UoN.
