Ulster GAA
For Great Big Green Week 2026, Ulster GAA, who have just become signatories of the Sports for Nature Framework, will be taking meaningful steps to connect their communities with the natural world. At their headquarters in Armagh, the organisation will begin developing a biodiversity garden, embedding a lasting commitment to nature at the heart of Ulster GAA. Across the province, two of their clubs will be bringing local communities into the action: one hosting a bio blitz to help residents discover and record the wildlife on their doorstep, and another running a wildlife garden workshop to inspire members to create spaces where nature can thrive.
