Here is a great big opportunity for you to find out all about the environment, and how it can be great to go green! The theme this year is swapping, which we are quite good at, and Wellingborough Eco Group is running a whole week of activities to inspire you again for the Great Big Green Week, including: Saturday 7th June - FAMILY SENSORY WALK- Wellingborough Eco Group’s Nature Rangers are excited to announce that we are kicking off The Great Big Green Week this year with a Family Sensory Walk in partnership with North Northamptonshire Council’s Active Families Sunday 8th June - WELLINGBOROUGH TOWN GARAGE SALE - ECO HUB is taking part in the first-ever Wellingborough Town Garage Sale! Monday 9th June - WELLIE WOMBLES C.L.E.A.N. - Wellingborough Library will have a display about what Wellie Wombles for The Great Big Green Week. ECO-CRAFTERS SEW SOCIAL - In the evening we welcome you to our Eco-Crafters sewing group, Sew Social. Tuesday 10th June - HAPPY CAFE, TUESDAY TIDY UPS, FOOD SHARERS, SUB AND SWAP SHOP - Come to ECO HUB and see us on our busiest day, we have something for everyone! Wednesday 11th June - COMMUNITY ALLOTMENT Working Party this Wednesday! Thursday 12th June - HAPPY CAFE, SWAP SHOP, FOOD SHARERS, SUB AND THURSDAY TIDY UPS. Friday 13th June - ECO CLUB FOR KIDS - Come to Eco Club, the Wellingborough Eco Group for kids! - REPLAY FUN FRIDAY in the evening we make Friday’s more fun! Saturday 14th June - REPAIR CAFE - Get something fixed! Sunday 15th June - THE GREAT BIG WELLINGBOROUGH CIRCULAR WALK AND CYCLE Do join us for our busiest week of the year, whether you want something fixed, swapped, saved or just choose to be a bit more eco-friendly, come and see that it can be great to go green.
