Organised by Sustainable Living in the Heatons and The Jolly Upcycler

Enjoy nature’s sounds and learn to recognise different bird songs during a dawn chorus walk. The walk will be for about an hour around Heaton Mersey Common. We will start at the entrance to Heaton Mersey Common at the junction of Priestnall Road and Heaton Mersey Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport SK4 3DJ.

Elise from The Jolly Upcycler will be your guide. You may have seen her around the Common with her binoculars and her camera. Elise will be supported by the team from Sustainable Living in the Heatons. Bring your own binoculars for an even more immersive experience.

The walk is mostly flat with some possible muddy patches. Wear proper clothes and footwear in case it rains. The event will be postponed only if heavy rain is forecast. The route will be suitable for wheelchair users as it can be on flat even paths.
