Explore the Luddington Loop – A Walk through Growing Woodland

Take time to slow down and explore the new woodland landscapes at Luddington and Dodwell on this guided walk with Forestry team members Mel and Zachary.

They’ll share insights into the creation of this young woodland — from the variety of trees now establishing themselves to the development of fresh permissive footpaths that invite you to wander further.

Following a 5km circular route, you’ll trace the River Avon, cross open meadows, and enjoy a sense of space among the new plantings and far-reaching views.

This peaceful morning walk offers a chance to connect with the growing Forest, discover what’s changing on the ground, and enjoy good company along the way.

Dogs on leads are welcome, and must be on a short lead through grazing livestock. Exact meeting point will be provided to registered ticket holders in advance of the walk.

All money raised from this event supports the Heart of England Forest (charity number 1097110). Please consider choosing a charity ticket, which includes an extra donation and the option to Gift Aid, helping your contribution go even further
