RtG Drop-In Open Garden Session 3: Canal Club Community Garden

Have you ever wanted to join a community garden but not sure where to start? Are you interested in growing your own food and supporting healthy ecosystems in Tower Hamlets?

We will be hosting a drop-in open gardening session at Canal Club Community Garden. An opportunity to get your hands in the soil, support a local community garden, learn new skills and hear more about what a Right to Grow could mean for you and the borough.

A small but perfectly formed wildlife and food growing community garden built by boat dwellers and the local community in 2010. The garden has been

grown to encourage visitors such as bees, butterflies and other wildlife, including like-minded people :). The Canal Club community have recently launched a petition to save their community space from demolition. Calling on the council to protect it as a permanent and vital(!) community asset. For more, visit the petition.
