Following the amazing start of the NaturEscape transformation project on 28th Feb (thanks to GoodGymers!), we are now looking to progress things at the Meadow Lane playground. The mesh fencing needs to be cut back with bolt cutters (and spiky ends hammered into the tree). Eventually this will allow children to then run freely between the trees again and open up play space. Another task will be to go into the nearby wooded area of the recreation grounds to collect branches and logs to bring back to the playground to build a den for the kids. Please bring gardening gloves and a head torch. Tools will be provided. Please meet at the Meadow Lane playground at 6pm. There will be a run after the task for those who would like to stretch their legs.
