London Rivers Week is a week-long annual campaign inspiring the public to celebrate all of London’s rivers and the many projects taking place to protect them. This year’s edition marks its tenth anniversary and is happening between the 23rd and 31st May. The overarching theme for 2026 is: “Know Your Local River” - encouraging Londoners to identify, explore and connect with their nearest river. For Great Big Green Week 2026, GoodGym will once again be hosting hundreds of sessions across 60+ locations across England and Wales to champion environmental change. As the UK's largest green exercise movement, GoodGymers will run, walk, and cycle to many amazing environmental projects to tackle climate change and protect nature.

There will be a vast range of sessions on offer, from turning compost at city farms to planting trees and wildflower meadows. All sessions are free and open to anyone aged 18+.
