This event will showcase the creations made by locals in the various textile and fashion workshops we have on offer. In addition, crochet and knitting circles, a preloved clothing sale, a mini sewing repair cafe and basic sewing workshop, block printing and natural dyeing of textiles demonstrations, yarn making from old garments and ‘street stitches’ are just some of the exciting activities that locals will be able to participate in on the day.

The fashion show is ticketed and scheduled for 2pm, however all other activities on offer are free to access, 10-4pm.

By hosting this showcase event we hope to inspire more locals to join in the fashion revolution. Mending, upcycling, repurposing and creating is an act of joyful resistance!
