Great Big Green Week at Knole: Nature park walk

As part of Great Big Green Week 2026, join a 45-minute walk to discover more about the acres of parkland at Knole. The volunteer leading the walk will talk about Knole’s status as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and highlights of the seasonal flora and fauna. You’ll hear about the historic landscape and how, in response to the changing climate, the parkland team are adapting their ways of looking after this beautiful space.

This is a free event but normal admission to Knole applies. Pre-booking admission is recommended, especially during school holidays and at weekends (this includes National Trust members and free admission pass holders).

Well-behaved dogs can go on this walk but must be kept on short leads at all times.

This event takes place outside so please dress according to the weather. Please wear suitable shoes or boots for walking.

This walk will go off paths so may not be accessible for wheelchairs. Please call 01732 462100 for any access requirements.
