- Location: Hall Close, Ketton, Bull Lane, Stamford, PE9 3TB
- Organiser: Ketton Climate Action
The 5th Ketton Green Festival will take place on Hall Close in the centre of Ketton, on Sunday 7 June, from 2pm to 4:30pm.
Village groups are organising a fun-filled afternoon of activities for all ages, including a return of the popular duck race along the River Chater.
There will be a toy swap, bike repair service, willow weaving, local arts and crafts and children’s games. Among those with information stands will be a local renewable energy supplier and the Leics and Rutland Wildlife Trust, plus village groups will be sharing information on current green initiatives, such as Ketton Goes Nuts. High quality vegetarian refreshments will be on sale, in addition to the ice-cream van! Ketton Methodist Church will be serving refreshments during the afternoon, and following the Festival the church will be hosting an Eco-themed service at 5:30pm. Everyone is welcome at the service.
Admission to the Festival is free for all. Please note there is no parking on site. Hall Close can be reached from Ketton High Street by walking along Bull Lane past Ketton Methodist Church.
