Ketton Green Festival
- Date: June 08, 2025 - 2pm 4pm
- Location: Hall Close, Ketton, Bull Lane, Stamford, PE9 3TB
- Organiser: Ketton Climate Action
The Ketton Green Festival will take place on Hall Close in the centre of Ketton, on Sunday 8 June, from 2pm to 4pm. Village groups are organising a fun-filled afternoon of activities for all ages, including a return of the duck race along the River Chater that proved so popular last year. There will also be a bike repair service, a bike exchange, a plant sale, local arts and crafts, plus a chance to have a go at seed planting and willow weaving. Among those with information stands will be a local renewable energy supplier, the Leics and Rutland Wildlife Trust and Refill Revolution who are now providing a regular refill service at Stamford Market. Village groups will be sharing information on current initiatives, such as the work on mapping walking routes around the village, and the Ketton Nut Project. New this year, high quality vegetarian refreshments will be on sale, in addition to ice-cream van! This is the fourth year for the Ketton Green Festival and we are delighted to see the Festival getting bigger and better, with more and more village organisations getting involved. Admission is free for all. Please note there is no parking on site. Hall Close can be reached from Ketton High Street by walking along Bull Lane past Ketton Methodist Church. Visit the Ketton Climate Action Facebook page for the latest information on the Green Festival.
