This event is part of the Great Big Green Week:

Falmouth Great Big Green Week

Festival for the Ocean

Taking place at Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth Marine Conservation will bring together a host of ocean-based environmental groups to engage people of all ages to encourage them to get involved with their protection. There will be a range of activities including art classes, snorkels, and rockpooling. Joining during the day will be the wicker basking shark being built by Falmouth University to encourage visitors to the beach to recycle their plastic. Other attractions will continue across the day so come down and find out more about how you can take action to preserve the ocean.
