A free family bike ride and cycling fun day returns to Wolverhampton on Saturday 13^th June, during Great Big Green Week and Bike Week.

The city’s cycling ambassador — former world champion cyclist and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Hugh Porter MBE — will set riders off from East Park at 12.30pm.

The marshalled ride follows a gentle route around the heart of the city and back, taking in landmarks such as Molineux Stadium — and wherever possible, following cycle lanes developed by City of Wolverhampton Council.

In East Park throughout the day is a programme of cycling activities for all ages, stalls, and entertainment.

This includes cycling skills sessions, a chance to have a free go on the East Park Cycle Speedway track, bike repair workshops and a Lime bike experience zone, showcasing electric pedal hire bikes.
