We are opening our doors at Gorsefield Rural Studies and Outdoor Activity Centre, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the site, with tours of our orchard and kitchen garden areas.

With a range of nature activities and workshops, refreshments available to purchase and tea and cake on the lawn or to take away – made with homegrown and local ingredients.

Free, ticketed. Open to all, families especially welcome.

All activities will be outside, so please dress appropriately!

Due to the green / sustainable nature of the event, we are encouraging visitors to arrive at the venue by means other than cars. Therefore, parking will not be available at Gorsefield. Pay and Display parking is available in Stansted Mountfitchet – either at the train station, or the Lower Street / Mountfitchet Castle car parks.
