Great Big Green Week at Hemblington NR13 4EF

Lots going on at All Saints Church, Hemblington. Saturday 6th June at 2:00 pm - free illustrated talk "A market for our times" - the story of Norwich Market with Frances and Michael Holmes, well respected local historians. Free light refreshments, then the AGM of The Friends of All Saints Church - though you don't have to stay on for this!

Sunday 7th June at 9:30 am: eco-service celebrating nature and our lovely local environment, though aware of the challenges we face with climate change.

Wednesday 10th June from 10:30 am: join us for a free wild flower identification walk around the churchyards, led by Norfolk Wildlife Trust officer Lucy Seely. Many important species can be found and the churchyards look lovely at this time of year. Free refreshments, followed by a one hour wildlife survey in the churchyards. Should be plenty of butterflies and dragonflies around, as well as farmland, garden and birds of prey.

All week there will be an exhibition in church highlighting the work of local conservation groups, with the results of the monthly wildlife surveys undertaken and some photos of the highlights spotted.

Do join us as you can.
