Are you taking part - or thinking about taking part - in Great Big Green Week this year, but would like to know how you can reach out to more people in your community to get involved? Come along to our session for guidance on how to effectively reach out to new people!

Whether you’re wanting to encourage others to host events, or bring your community together during the week itself, you can have a lasting impact by getting others involved right from the start. This session has been tailored based on organisers feedback from previous years. In this session, we will cover:

  • The power of connection - why reach out to people in your community?

  • Outreach workshop - we’ll cover how to effectively map your community,, have discussions around how you can reach out to different people in your area, and work through a framework for you to get commitments to action when you do your outreach.

  • Create space for you to connect and chat with other people looking to outreach in their communities

The workshop will be led by Meg, Head of Movement Building at The Climate Coalition. A community organiser and campaigner, Meg works with communities and grassroots organisations, supporting them to build power through taking collective action.

When: Wednesday 15th April, 6-7:30PM
Where: Zoom (you will be sent a link once you sign up)
