- Date: April 13, 2026 - 6pm till 7:30pm
- Location: Online
- Tickets: Click here
As part of Great Big Green Week 2026, people all over the UK are going to be hosting events that showcase what communities are doing to take action for people, climate and nature and why we care.
These events are also an important opportunity to engage your local politicians and put climate and nature at the heart of political discussions, raise awareness about key issues, and show decision makers that we’re standing together for the future of our planet and people.
This online session will be run by The Climate Coalition and Hope for the Future, we'll be covering things like:
-
how to strengthen engagement with your local politicians on climate and nature, even though it might feel more difficult right now
-
ideas for how you can connect with your politicians through your Great Big Green Week events
-
the impact that engaging with your politicians during Great Big Green Week can have
There will also be an opportunity for you to ask your pressing questions on how to involve politicians in your events and share your own stories, tips, and guidance.
This session is for anyone who has engaged with their local politicians before, but might be finding it difficult and need some guidance on where to go next, or want to strengthen existing relationships with local politicians - and Great Big Green Week is the perfect opportunity to do this.
