Enjoying close encounters with whales, observe the hilarious antics of penguins and kayak amongst beautiful icebergs in the company of explorer Edward Gildea, who spent January sailing in Antarctica.
Witness the most astounding place: a vision of what the planet looks like when nature is left alone!
Having sailed all the oceans of the world, Edward’s talk describes the connection you feel with the energy of planet as you sail. What is it like to helm during a Pacific storm? How do you cope with big waves? The expedition was also a reminder of how the future of humanity will be determined by our oceans.
Suitable for all ages, including families and children. People can just attend this event or stay on for the National Emergency Briefing which will follow at 7.30.
