We’re thrilled to invite you to the Grand Opening of Cookies Corner on June 10th, a joyous community celebration made possible by the unwavering support of local businesses and residents. This event forms part of The Great Big Green Week, a nationwide movement bringing communities together to take action for climate and nature.

Cookies Corner has been thoughtfully designed as a wellbeing space for everyone. Created using recycled and upcycled materials, it includes a sensory area, spaces to sit and connect, and a calm environment where people can openly talk about mental health, take a break, or access support. The project encourages the community to get outdoors, reconnect with nature, and support both personal and environmental wellbeing.

There has been a huge amount of hard work behind the scenes—progress has taken a little longer than expected due to the amount of slate uncovered! We’re proud to be upcycling as much as possible, keeping sustainability at the heart of the project. This space will be open to all, whether for support sessions, lunch breaks, or simply a moment of calm.
