Forget those toys needing batteries. Drop in with your children to have fun playing with DIY toys and make a mini bug hotel to take away. Also see how woodturners make beautiful objects out of pieces of left-over timber. Blacksmiths will also be in action in the yard's 200 year old forge.

Light refreshments are available from the cafe and there are places to sit in the wildlife garden. Volunteers can show you around the historic workshops full of the stuff that five generations of the Chedham wheelwrights and blacksmiths never threw away.

Entry is free of charge, though donations are appreciated.
