Great Big Green Week is the UK's biggest celebration of community action on climate and nature - and it's powered by people like you. But the most powerful GBGW events don't happen by accident. They grow from strong, organised local communities that have been building relationships, taking action, and developing leadership all year round.

That's why we've created our Build. Grow. Lead. programme! It's for anyone who wants to organise local action on climate and nature - whether you've been doing it for years or you're just getting started.

Over six months, we'll support you to build or strengthen a community group that can take action all year round, grow its own leadership, and arrive at Great Big Green Week 2027 ready to make it the biggest and best yet. You'll finish December with real skills, connections to fellow organisers across the UK, and a concrete plan that's yours to own.
