Event Description

The Swift nest boxes at Penrith Library hold a particularly significant place within our hearts so we are dedicating the morning to a series of swift-themed activities including the creation of swift mobiles, colouring activities and sharing of information about these remarkable birds. Free drop in activity led by Penrith Swift Group.

About Penrith Swift Group: The Group has been set up with the support of the Cumbria Wildlife Trust and the North Cumbria RSPB group. It aims to record bird numbers and nests, help protect traditional nest sites and engage with the local community to encourage swift awareness.
