A passivhaus is a home that rarely needs heated due to its 'fabric first' approach to construction. Take a tour of a passivhaus and discuss sustainable construction and retrofit with someone who has been on the whole journey, from design, through taping the ends of every joist, to the realisation that comfort was piggybacking on sustainability all the way. An opportunity to chat about the role passivhaus can play in construction more widely and some of the challenges with tackling retrofit of our existing housing stock.
