The UK’s first community fridge was trialled in 2016. Since then, 100s of community fridges have taken root across the UK, helping thousands connect to their neighbours, access nutritious food, save money and reduce waste. Y Pantri in Llanfyllin was started by volunteers in 2023, and is open 10am to 4pm, Wednesdays to Fridays and 9:30am to 1:30pm on Saturdays at The Cross Keys. Do pop in today to donate any unwanted produce, or, to pick something up to take home with you!
