Wildflower River Planting with Friends of Willmott Park

A free, hands-on event is taking place in Willmott Park in Bristol, helping to plant a wildflower river bed. The event will begin with a short introduction to the organising team, followed by a safety briefing on tool use. You will then be able to get involved with helping to plant up the wildflower river bed with plug plants, wildflower seeds and seed bombs in the South Section of the park. This activity will help provide new habitat for insects and pollinators, retracing the original coarse of one of the tributaries for the Malago River. During the planting session there will be a refreshment break with tea, coffee, and biscuits. Suitable for all ages. No experience necessary.
