Join Sandwich Environmental Conservation Group in tidying & weeding the flowerbeds along the Ropewalk. Starting at the Mote Sole end. Bring strong gloves, forks & trowels. The first two flowerbeds are very colourful & may not need a lot of work, though thistles get everywhere! The third bed is for wild flowers so may need to be selective about what is a 'weed'. More weeding may be needed in the fourth & fifth beds. Plants have been added to provide nectar for insects and shelter for other wildlife but also to please the eyes of passing humans.
