Reduce waste, save money and help the planet by bringing your broken items to our Repair Cafe at Tideswell Community Hall, Derbyshire, SK17 8PD. Our Volunteer Repairers love to put their skills to the test on a range of items, including small electrical equipment, bikes, wooden items, toys, textiles, and sharpening blades. Some items may need a specialist repairer, such as clocks, ceramics, and digital equipment, in which case we may be able to recommend a professional repairer. Your items must be portable and clean, please. We invite you to stay with your fixer whilst your item is repaired to watch, learn and join in – it’s a great chance to find out more about how your item works, how to look after and fix it yourself . You are welcome to drop in for a cuppa (including real coffee) and homemade cake, even if you don't have anything to mend. Please bring any items for repair by 12.30pm.
