Ilminster Quakers’ Great Big Green Pop-up Swap Shop returns to the Ilminster Midsummer Experience for its second year! You bring along unwanted clothes, toys, books and other good quality bric-a-brac to the Swap Shop and exchange them for a voucher at the door. You can then take your voucher into the Swap Shop and ‘spend’ it for stuff you really want! While you’re there, enjoy a cuppa, a biscuit and a sit-down. We hope you’ll discover how much fun it can be to opt out of environmentally damaging fast fashion and unsustainable consumerism – while still filling your wardrobes and bookshelves with stuff you’ll love. The Swap Shop opens its doors at 9.30am at Sweet Surprise, Silver Street, Ilminster, Somerset on Saturday 7 June. We look forward to seeing you there!
