A second Ouse Valley Ramble with Huntingdonshire Ramblers, a 5.5 mile circular walk past the Hemingford villages: We will walk along the Thicket Path to Houghton, crossing the river and returning through the lush water meadows. This route is always a delight on a mid-summer evening, and we will also have local geographer Keith Grimwade with us to give us some insight about points of interest we may otherwise walk past. Please arrive at 6:20 for a prompt start at 6:30pm. Please wear sensible footwear, bring water and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. (We do aim to finish the walk in daylight, but putting a torch in your pocket may be a good idea.)
