Really Wild Lockleaze has worked with local residents to create a mini nature reserve around Lockleaze Sports Centre consisting of ponds, wetland areas, hedgerows, woodlands and wildflower areas. We’re teaming up with the RSPB to do a BioBlitz! We’ll have a good look over the area and identify what’s growing, flying and thriving there. Recording our finds using cameras, phones and the iNaturalist app, we’ll be contributing useful data for both management of the site, whilst also contributing to wider national data of how wildlife is doing.
