Leith Community Croft is a vibrant urban croft and community space which serves as the base of the environmental charity Earth in Common who along with our community of ‘Crofters’ are custodians of the land. The Croft was established by reclaiming two acres of neglected common food land at the northern end of Leith Links, transforming it into a hub for sustainable living, food growing, and community engagement. It hosts a thriving community growing space, market garden, children’s forest garden and social enterprise cafe. What’s On: Swap/donate seeds, plants, gardening books and tools at our swap stall. Also enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly, nature-based crafts, scavenger hunts and chat to our team about the past and the future of this very special urban green space. Populus café will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
