Repair Café – part of Great Big Green Week’s celebration of swapping and sharing This Great Big Green Week, we’re celebrating the power of swapping – not just things, but skills, stories and solutions! Bring along your broken or damaged items and our talented volunteers will try to fix them, for free. In return, you get to swap waste for something working again – and maybe even learn a new skill along the way. Enjoy a cuppa while you wait, have a chat with your neighbours, and find out more about how simple acts like repairing and reusing help tackle climate change. We typically repair: Bikes (basic maintenance) Electrical appliances (except microwaves – safety first!) Sewing and mending Computing help Small furniture and woodwork General household bits and bobs Have a question? Drop us a message on Facebook or Twitter and we’ll try to make sure a fixer is available for your item.
