Norah's Ark at The Guild Chapel: Making a noise- Creating music and sound effects through body and voice
- Date: June 07, 2025 - 12pm till 2:45pm
- Location: The Guild Chapel, Chapel Lane, Stratford-Upon-Avon, CV37 6EP
- Organiser: Guild Chapel volunteer group (Stratford Town Trust)
Norah's Ark is a lively new community theatre production based on medieval mystery plays and inspired by the 15th century wall paintings in Stratford’s historic Guild Chapel. It will present a modern medieval take on the climate crisis with a new version of the story told from the perspective of Norah, Noah’s wife. And, while the production will convey a serious environmental message, there will be spectacle and fun too for all the family, including music created from recycled items, puppets and special effects. This is the first in a series of fun workshops, exploring green theatre techniques. For those interested in taking part in the Norah's Ark production in GBGW 2026, or anyone who simply wants to have a go! All children must be accompanied by an adult (not suitable for very small children). FREE. Saturday 7th June. Guild Chapel. Sessions at 12.00pm-12.45pm, and 2.00pm-2.45pm. Sign up on the day at the Norah's Ark stall in New Place, or in the Guild Chapel.
