You are invited to C S Lewis Square, Belfast on Saturday 13th June for a community launch celebrating the place and the future of the Connswater Community Greenway.

The Greenway, a walking and cycling route through East Belfast, is also home to wildlife habitats, flood protection for thousands of homes, a safe green space for families, and the backdrop to community life across the streets it runs through. This year we are inviting the people who use it, live around and care about to help shape what comes next.

The launch marks the start of a five-year project with thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. It aims to bring residents, schools, local groups, Belfast City Council, environmental partners and Queen's University together to look after the Greenway and the wider environment around it. Expect community chats, wildlife walks, family-friendly activities, and the chance to share what matters to you about your local area and what you would like to see change.
