How to identify real climate solutions - A Quakers and Faith for the Climate webinar (part 2)

There is now global consensus that climate change is an issue of injustice. Those who have done the least to cause climate change are suffering its worst impacts, while those who have contributed to it the most are still avoiding the responsibility to redress and undo the damage. Our speakers will be: 1) Lindsey Fielder Cook, Interim Deputy Director and Representative for Climate Change at the Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) will explain what real solutions look like from an international climate justice perspective and highlight available-at-scale solutions, including some reflections on the politics which hinder these from being taken up 2)Toqueer Ahmed Quyyam, an award-winning eco and social justice campaigner in Birmingham and the Black Country will tell us about Retrofit Balsall Heath as an example of a real climate solution This webinar will be hosted by Dr Shanon Shah, Director at Faith for the Climate
