Join South Gloucestershire Council and Bristol Avon Rivers Trust on a short informative walk at Yate Common, where we’ll explore the innovative Natural Flood Management measures in place. Discover how these eco-friendly solutions are helping to protect our community from flooding. What to expect: Meet at 7:30pm, with the walk and talk starting at 7:45pm. Expect some uneven ground underfoot, as the route is not all footpath. Afterwards, there will be a guided bat walk (9-10pm), which you are welcome to stay for. Everyone welcome – no need to book!
