Join us on Saturday 14th June for a Tree Walk at Glandwr Forest. Glandwr Forest is an award-winning new native broadleaf forest. It is home to semi-ancient natural woodland, beautiful mature hedgerows, majestic rows of Oak, veteran trees, species-rich grasslands and one of the largest field-trials in the UK on carbon sequestration. We are delighted to be joined by local expert Sonia Winder from Tilhill Forestry, who is both a Chartered Forester and Chartered Environmentalist. Together with one of our Trustees, Sonia will lead a guided walk of the trees in Glandwr Forest. The walk will be roughly 120 minutes and the terrain is uneven with walking trails, stiles, and grasses. There will be two walk times: Morning walk at 10:00am , please arrive by 9:30am Afternoon walk at 1:30pm, please arrive by 1:00 pm Tickets are FREE.
