We warmly welcome you to join us for a gentle nature connection taster session designed especially for parents and babies. The forest bathing session will be guided by a nature-based practitioner, and will invite you to slow down, connect with nature, and share peaceful moments with your baby. This is part of a wider research study, aiming to understand how nature can support wellbeing after having a baby. The nature-based practitioner (Lucinda Stanton) will facilitate a taster ‘forest bathing’ session. This will involve a series of three guided invitations, following by optional ‘sharing circles’, so people can share their experiences if they wish. Invitations will include a brief guided sensory meditation, some gentle movement, and ‘texture gathering’ in the park. We will finish with some light refreshments and time for informal discussion. Audience: The target audience of the event is parents with babies under the age of one year. No experience in nature connection needed – just bring yourselves, and your buggy or sling. Accessibility: We will take buggy-friendly paths to a quiet part of the park. This gentle and invitational session will not involve covering any long distances. Location: We will meet at Brandon Hill tower (Cabot Tower), in Brandon Hill Park, Park Street, Bristol, BS1 5RR, at 10.30am.
