Spend 1 hour watching flowers, bees and other insects in beautiful Springfield Park in Hackney! This survey is part of a national initiative to collect data on the total number of insects that visit a particular flower. We have recently created wildflower meadows and bee banks in the park and are eager to monitor the impact of these actions to guide future management. You will be contributing to both local and national efforts to help our valuable pollinators. We will start with an introduction of survey methods and ID skills, and do 10 minute surveys.
