Helping the local gardening team with extra hands! The Garden was locked for 7/8 years due to spaces being abused and for antisocial behaviours. We are now claiming back the space for community initiatives and we are starting by soil regeneration and gardening. The plan is to meet up at the Arsenal Community Hub on Benwell Road, and after a short warm up, health and safety briefing and a warm welcome, we will run together to Everleigh Gardens. Volunteers from local non for profit organisations, The Sustainable Nutrition Academy CIC and Bridging The Green CIC will be joining us to help with compost cultivation.
