Enjoy free-movement dance and connecting with nature through movement... ‘Dancing the elements’ - WATER on World Oceans Day. Held on a beautiful seascape, we'll experience connecting with WATER through movement. Connecting to the rhythms, each other and nature through movement and dance. Together with a suggestively elemental music journey and creative visualisations inspired by Nature you will be guided into the experience of the subtle qualities which Water creates within us. Using wireless headsets (provided) for an immersive music experience. Free-movement dance in nature is a light-hearted way to become more embodied through letting Nature speak through your body. Simply move as much or little as you want - however you feel. This experience will give you new perspectives on movement and your experience of the Elements in Nature as an inspiration for creative self-expression and everyday life. We'll start the session taking some time to share ideas about the qualities of Water and how we can see them expressed in Nature. Guidelines for Dance Free events: * Be present in the moment * Non-verbal space communicate with movement * Keep moving as much or little as you feel * Respect others mindful of other's space & freedom of expression * Alcohol/drug free clear mind to embrace mindful movement * Be free ~ Dance however you feel! This event is also part of Great Big Green Week - the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. Individuals, communities and organisations joining together in a wave of support for action to protect the planet. After the dance we'll be sharing information and chatting about sustainable travel /shopping habits, where to shop local and for eco-friendly products/refill options and mindful consumption - for a safer, greener, fairer future.
