Join Dance Free CIC for invigorating free-movement in the beautiful Hartsholme Park Woodland. This is your chance to experience the liberating power of movement and connect to nature in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Feel the stress melt away as you move freely to uplifting music, surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Free-Movement: This isn't about bring a 'good' dancer or set moves; it's about expressing yourself through movement, however you feel. Let go of inhibitions and embrace the joy of simply moving. Immersive Silent Disco: Wireless headphones provide crystal-clear sound, creating a personal and immersive musical experience as you move among the trees. A Welcoming Community: Join a supportive and non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome, regardless of experience. Nature's Embrace: Connect with the natural world as you move through Hartsholme Park Woodland, feeling the earth beneath your feet and breathing in the fresh air. Stress Relief and Wellbeing: Experience the transformative power of movement, leaving you feeling lighter, brighter, and grounded. What to expect in a session: Welcoming and brief introduction and tips on ways to move into your comfort zone. 5-minute guided meditation over gentle music to help you connect with your body. 50-minute uplifting and soulful music journey through a range of different music to inspire movement. All music played through high-quality wireless headsets. After the dance stay around for a cuppa where, we'll be sharing information and chatting about sustainable travel /shopping habits, where to shop local and for eco-friendly products/refill options and mindful consumption - for a safer, greener, fairer future. This event will run for 6 sessions on Saturday mornings, from June 7th to July 26th (excluding June 21st and July 19th). We recommend coming to all the 6 sessions (where possible) to gain full benefit. Please book each session separately.
