Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve Nature Neighbourhoods Co-Design Community Nature Walk β Saturday 14th June The Claypits: Rooted in the Past, Growing into the Future Come explore the rich natural beauty of the Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve β a wild urban haven shaped by history, nature, and the community. Once a post industrial site, the Claypits have rewilded into a patchwork of wildflower meadows, wetland habitats, woodland trails, and canalside paths. This is more than a walk β itβs a chance to reconnect with the land, share your stories, and help guide the future of this special place. πΏ Learn about the wildlife that calls the Claypits home β from dragonflies and frogs to foxes and kestrels. πΏ Share your hopes for how this green space can serve the community and the environment for years to come. πΏ Connect with neighbours and local guides passionate about the past and future of the reserve. As a thank you, everyone who takes part will receive a free lunch and be entered into a prize draw.
