Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve Nature Neighbourhoods Co-Design Community Nature Walk – Saturday 14th June The Claypits: Rooted in the Past, Growing into the Future Come explore the rich natural beauty of the Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve β€” a wild urban haven shaped by history, nature, and the community. Once a post industrial site, the Claypits have rewilded into a patchwork of wildflower meadows, wetland habitats, woodland trails, and canalside paths. This is more than a walk β€” it’s a chance to reconnect with the land, share your stories, and help guide the future of this special place. 🌿 Learn about the wildlife that calls the Claypits home β€” from dragonflies and frogs to foxes and kestrels. 🌿 Share your hopes for how this green space can serve the community and the environment for years to come. 🌿 Connect with neighbours and local guides passionate about the past and future of the reserve. As a thank you, everyone who takes part will receive a free lunch and be entered into a prize draw.
