Wildflower planting and embroidery workshop. Happy Boots CIC wellbeing through Nature Project are the proud recipients of the Grow Wild national outreach programme of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew! This grant has enabled us to deliver two wildflower planting sessions, swapping from the usual bedding plants to native wildflowers to provide food and habitat for our wildlife. Our new planters and hedgerows will be planted up with perennial native wildflowers, we hope to share the message regarding the importance of wildflowers through having conversations and sharing information. Activities take place at Calon Taf Centre in Ynysangharad War Memorial park on Wednesday the 11th of June and 10am - 12pm and Friday 13th of June 11am to 1pm. A wildflower themed mini embroidery workshop with Growing Space Pontypridd on Wednesday 11th 12.30-2.30pm - £2 per participant, booking is essential.
